Tune in weekdays for 10-min daily news roundups:

Today we’re breaking down what to expect at the Senate impeachment trial against former President Trump next week.

We’ll discuss the arguments we’ll likely hear from both side, how the constitution and our nation’s history come into play, and what the senators (who act as the jury) will likely be keeping in mind as they decide whether to convict.

Our guest today is Jamil Jaffer. He has served as Chief Counsel and Senior Adviser to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and as Associate White House Counsel to former President George W. Bush. He’s currently Executive Director of the National Security Institute and an Assistant Professor of Law at George Mason University.
