Brooke Markevicius’ professional journey began in the non-profit sector, but her aptitude for technology was hard to ignore. With a passion for problem-solving and a talent for resolving computer issues and improving systems, she earned a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.
She created Allobee, a platform that blends technology with a community of vetted experts to disrupt the traditional business model of finding and managing freelancers. Brooke led and built Allobee’s product and company to profitability, raised venture funding and then was acquired in 2022 by The Riveter.
Brooke now is the Chief Product Officer at The Riveter and continues to grow Allobee’s product which is now Riveter Work. Today, Brooke resides in Durham, NC with her husband, two kids, and two rescue dogs.
