G20 Summit: President Trump is in Japan for the G20 summit. Trump met with leaders including Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Russian President Vladimir Putin. It’s the first meeting between Trump and Putin since Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report came out. On top of that meeting, trade talks are taking center stage as Trump meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Dem Debate Night 2: In the second night of the first 2020 Democratic debate, the candidates talked immigration, healthcare, gun control and climate change. Things got a bit more heated last night than the night before. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Bernie Sanders spoke the most and were the most tweeted about during the debate.

Border Bill: A border funding bill is now on its way to the president’s desk. Assuming he signs it, the bill will provide $4.6 billion to provide resources to migrant families held at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Citizenship Ruling: The U.S. Supreme Court blocked President Trump’s plan to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census, citing the Trump administration’s lack of a “credible reason” to include the question. Trump tweeted that it’s “ridiculous” that a “basic question” would not be included on the survey. Critics of the citizenship question say it could scare away undocumented immigrants from answering the census. Trump said he's looking into whether he can delay the 2020 census.

New Twitter Labels: Twitter is cracking down on public officials who break its bullying and abuse rules. The platform won’t delete tweets, but it will label them and make them harder to find. The goal is to let users know certain tweets broke the rules but keeping them online since they're of "public interest." The new rule only applies to political and government officials as well as verified users and people with more than 100,000 followers.

WorldPride NY: Millions will be in New York City this weekend for the WorldPride Festival. The celebration of LGBTQ rights also marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, known as a turning point in the gay rights movement. The 1969 raid led to six days of protests and sparked the modern movement for LGBTQ rights. The annual gay pride parade is on Sunday.

World Cup: The U.S. women’s soccer team will face their toughest match yet in the World Cup as they play France in the quarterfinals today. The U.S. is the defending World Cup champion, while France wants to win for the first time on their own turf. Whoever wins this game will move onto the semi-finals. The game is at 3pm EDT on FOX.

NASA Moon Rocks: NASA is opening up an old vault to take another crack at studying moon rocks. The rocks were collected during several moon missions, including the historic Apollo 11 moon landing 50 years ago. Scientists want to study the rocks with modern-day technology. Read more: AP

Google Maps Update: Google Maps will provide more info for commuters about how crowded buses and trains are at a particular time. The company has asked people riding public transportation to give details about their trips, and now that data will be used for crowd predictions in Google Maps in 200 cities around the world.

Amazon Rite Aid Pickup: Amazon has partnered with Rite Aid to allow customers to pick up their orders over the counter at physical stores. The new pick-up service is called “Counter.” It’s meant to help Amazon keep its one-day shipping promises and give customers more delivery options. For now, it’s only available at 100 stores, but it’s expected to grow to 1,500 by the end of this year.

Prime Day Concert: Amazon is holding a concert to kick off Prime Day next month. Taylor Swift is headlining. Dua Lipa and SZA will also perform. Prime members can stream the concert on July 10 on Prime Video.
