Trade War: China announced it’s retaliating against the U.S. again with its own tariffs on $75 billion of U.S. goods starting next month. Then, President Trump said he'll raise the tariffs on more Chinese goods from the planned 10 percent to 15 percent, starting next month. Trump also said he could declare a national emergency, which would stop U.S. businesses from working with China, but that he's not planning on it right now. All three U.S. stock indexes dropped Friday, and global markets are down as of early this morning.

G7 Summit: The G7 summit meetings are wrapping up today. The group includes leaders from the U.S., Japan, Germany, France, Italy, the U.K. and Canada. The countries are still talking about ways to help deal with the record number of fires in the Amazon rainforest. French President Emmanuel Macron said they are close to a deal to offer “technical and financial help.” Macron also held an unannounced meeting with Iran’s foreign minister over the weekend in the hopes of starting new talks and easing tensions between the U.S. and Iran. There was also some talk about Russia. Trump has suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin should be part of the G7, though some of the other leaders are not on board.

RBG's Cancer: U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just finished up three weeks of radiation treatment for a tumor on her pancreas. Doctors don’t think the cancer spread anywhere else. It’s the fourth time the 86-year old has been treated for cancer.

Luck Retires: Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck is retiring at the age of 29. While some say he was in the prime of his career, Luck has battled multiple injuries over the past few seasons. Jacoby Brissett is now the Colts’ starting quarterback.

Tour Championship: Rory McIlroy took home first place and $15 million at the TOUR Championship. He beat Brooks Koepka in the final round. He’s only the second golfer to win this one twice.

Smart Bandages: Researchers are working on new tech that can help heal wounds by listening to them. The smart sensors are meant to be able to use tiny electronic sensors that can hear sound waves under the bandage to measure how quickly the wound is healing. The goal is to check wounds without having to take the bandage off.

Amazon Investigation: A Wall Street Journal investigation found Amazon sold thousands of unsafe, banned and mislabeled items from third-party sellers. Amazon responded with a blog post that says safety is the top priority. Amazon has since taken down or changed the wording for about half of the listings. Experts recommend looking for products that are sold and shipped by Amazon.com or to do your homework on third-party sellers through Google or other stores as well as reviews. You can also check for recalled items on Recalls.gov.

Disney Reveals: Disney made several announcements during its D23 convention. The company revealed a bunch of new shows, spinoffs and trailers. The new Disney+ streaming service will have three new Marvel shows, a High School Musical series and a live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp. Disney also released the first trailer for the Star Wars spinoff series The Mandalorian. Disney+ is set to launch on November 12th.

Movie & Music Charts: The movie Angel Has Fallen hit the top of the box office charts this weekend, bringing in $21 million in its first three days. The movie is the third from the action franchise starring Gerard Butler. In second place was Good Boys, and the sports drama Overcomer came in third. On the music charts, Taylor Swift’s new album is already the top-selling album of 2019 in the U.S., though it was just released on Friday. Also of note: the MTV Video Music Awards are live tonight at 8:00pm ET.
