Interview with Guest Ayana Elizabeth Johnson

 

Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, conservation strategist, and Brooklyn native. She is founder and CEO of Ocean Collectiv, a strategy consulting firm for conservation solutions grounded in social justice. Previously, she was executive director of the Waitt Institute, and worked on ocean policy at the EPA and NOAA.  She is an adjunct professor at NYU and board member/advisor to the Billion Oyster Project, Green 2.0, World Surf League’s PURE, and the Environmental Voter Project.
