Scott Jennings is an American writer and conservative commentator. He is an on-air contributor for CNN, and writes for CNN.com, USA Today, and the Los Angeles Times.

President Bush appointed Jennings to the position of Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs on October 17, 2005. He’s a longtime political advisor to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and a veteran of four presidential campaigns.

Jennings is the founding partner of RunSwitch PR in Louisville, KY. He teaches courses at Harvard’s Kennedy School, Tufts University, and is a Pritzker Fellow at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics.
