'Senior Official' Op-Ed: A 'senior official' from the Trump administration wrote an unprecedented NYT Op-Ed saying Trump has "misguided impulses" and his actions are "detrimental to the health of our republic." The official said there's a "resistance" within the White House working to stop the president from major mistakes. President Trump calls out the anonymous byline and says it's a "gutless editorial" and "a disgrace."

Kavanaugh Day 3: The hearings continue for U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, today and tomorrow. Yesterday, he faced some tough questions and said he's independent and is loyal to the constitution. He wouldn't give an answer on topics like whether he thinks the president should be allowed to pardon himself.

Plane Quarantined: A plane coming from Dubai with hundreds of people on it was quarantined at New York's JFK Airport. The pilot reported many people were sick. Officials now believe several people on the flight had the flu, but most travelers are fine and went on their way.

Controversial Commercial: Expect to see Nike's new two-minute ad featuring Colin Kaepernick during tonight's NFL season opener (Falcons vs. Eagles). This week, Nike faced mixed reactions to its latest "Just Do It" campaign featuring Kaepernick, who was the first NFL player to kneel during the National Anthem before games.

RecallsToyota is recalling more than a million cars around the world, including Prius vehicles in the U.S. due to a potential fire risk. Also, the CDC is reminding people about a recall of Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal. More people are getting sick due to salmonella.

TSA + 3D: The TSA plans to expand its use of 3D luggage scanners -- going from about a dozen airports over the summer to 200 airports by the end of the year. Officials say this could lead to people leaving their liquids and electronics in their carry-ons while going through security in the future.
