Impeachment Inquiry Update:
The State Department Inspector General has requested an "urgent" briefing on Capitol Hill today with staffers from several House and Senate committees about documents related to Ukraine. Also, there's been a lot of back and forth in the last 24 hours between Democrats and the Trump administration -- with each claiming intimidation by the other.

Hong Kong Protests:
Police in Hong Kong shot a protester with a live bullet for the first time. The 18-year old protester is in critical condition at the hospital. The latest violent clash between demonstrators and police happened on China's National Day yesterday.

Online Investing Fees:
Charles Schwab, which is one of the largest brokerages in the U.S., announced that investors will no longer pay fees to trade online as of next week. TD Ameritrade followed suit. It comes after tech startup Robinhood started the trend. The latest announcement sent company stocks falling.

Harvard Lawsuit Ruling:
A federal judge ruled Harvard does not discriminate against Asian-American applicants. The judge ruled the university’s policy on racial and economic diversity isn’t perfect, but doesn’t violate the Constitution. The case will likely see an appeal.

Royal Couple Sues:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are suing a U.K. tabloid after it published a private letter Markle sent to her estranged father without permission. Prince Harry said the tabloid edited the letter to hide “lies," but the paper says it stands by the story.

Leaked Audio:
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees he would take it court if there was a big effort to break up the company, though he admitted it would still “suck” to have to sue the government. Leaked audio published on The Verge reveals Zuckerberg referring to Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s plans to break up big tech. Warren responded by tweeting, “What would really 'suck' is if we don’t fix a corrupt system...”

UPS Drone Deliveries:
UPS got approval to run a drone airline, which it calls an aviation first. The FAA certification gives the company broad permissions to start delivering with drones in rural and suburban areas. For now, UPS will deliver medical products in North Carolina to several hospitals and eventually deliver packages to homes.

Mars Sounds:
NASA’s lander has been listening to what's happening on Mars since last November and recorded its first sounds in April. Since then, it’s detected more than 100 sounds: about 20 of them could be Marsquakes, but the rest could be something else. Scientists say it helps them imagine what’s happening on the red planet.

'Work Wednesday' - Crying at Work:
Crying at work is more common than you might think: a new survey found 8 in 10 workers say they’ve cried at the office. Most say it was because of work-related issues, though some say it was personal. Though crying at work still has a stigma, experts say it can be a useful sign of a toxic work environment or something that needs to be addressed or fixed. Also, it's a natural, human thing.
