Roger Stone Convicted:
President Trump’s confidant and GOP consultant Roger Stone was convicted on all seven counts of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements to Congress. Trump came to his defense, saying there's a 'double standard.' Stone will be sentenced in February.

Louisiana Runoff Results:
Gov. John Bel Edwards won re-election in Louisiana this weekend, barely beating his Republican opponent. He is the only Democratic governor in the Deep South. It’s the second time in a week a Trump-backed candidate has lost a major race.

Fresno, CA Shooting:
Details on another shooting in California are still developing as of early this morning. Ten people were shot at a football viewing party in a backyard in Fresno. Four of them have died. No word yet on the suspects or the motive.

Hong Kong Protests:
Universities have become the new battleground for ongoing protests in Hong Kong, and it turned into a tense standoff Sunday night into Monday. Police are using tear gas, while protesters are using homemade weapons and bows and arrows.

'Unsinkable' Metal:

Researchers have made a metal that can float even if it gets damaged, which could be used to build 'unsinkable' ships. Scientists say there is basically a giant air bubble in parts of the metal. The process is time-consuming and difficult to produce in large quantities, but the metal could eventually be used to make life rafts, buoyant clothing and even floating cities.

Apple Removes Vaping Apps:
Apple is getting rid of 181 vaping-related apps in its App Store. The move comes after at least 42 people have died and many more have gotten sick from a vaping-related lung illness. People who have already downloaded vaping-related apps will be able to keep using them.

Kaepernick Workout:
Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was supposed to work out in front of NFL scouts and coaches this weekend, but he chose to move venues last-minute. It was reportedly over disagreements about the liability waiver and camera crews. Kaepernick hasn't played in the league for three years after causing controversy about kneeling during the National Anthem.

Box Office:
Ford v Ferrari took first place at the weekend box office. The historical sports drama brought in $31 million in North America, beating industry expectations. Midway came in second, and Charlie’s Angels came in third.

Hulu Prices Up:
Prices for Hulu’s Live TV streaming plan are increasing. Starting next month, it will go up about ten bucks to $55 per month. Hulu’s standard streaming plan will stay the same.

Dunkin’ Ditches Foam:
Dunkin’ Donuts is getting rid of foam cups and banning the use of a second cup for extra insulation. The company is trying to be more environmentally friendly. Paper cups will replace foam cups first in New England and worldwide next year.

Money Monday - Record Debt:
New statistics show U.S. households have a record $14 trillion in debt, mostly from mortgages, credit cards and student loans. That said, the economy is larger than in previous decades, so it can handle more debt. Experts say getting rid of debt is possible. A survey found nearly half of Americans who got out of debt did it through a payment plan.
