Impeachment Hearing:
Public hearings in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump are over for now. Yesterday we heard from Fiona Hill, who used to be the top Russia expert on the National Security Council, and David Holmes, a top aide in the U.S. embassy in Ukraine. It looks like House Democrats are ready to move forward with drawing up articles of impeachment for abuse of power, bribery, contempt of Congress and obstruction of justice.

Netanyahu Indicted:
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been indicted on corruption charges. Netanyahu is accused of fraud and bribery, but he denies the charges. Israel is on the verge of holding its third election this year since Netanyahu and his rivals haven’t been able to form the required coalition governments.

Syracuse Racist Incidents:
More than a dozen incidents of racism and anti-Semitism have been reported at Syracuse University in upstate New York this month. Four students have been suspended and one arrest has been made, but concerned students don’t think the school’s leadership is doing enough to address the situation.

Rain, ice and snow could cause issues for people traveling this weekend ahead of Thanksgiving. Winter weather is expected in the Northeast and Midwest and may impact driving and flying travelers.

Global Horseradish Shortage:
Early snowfall in the Midwest is apparently to blame for what is now a global horseradish shortage. The world’s largest horseradish producer was unable to harvest about half of its crop because of it. Some restaurants, including Burger King, are already feeling the impact.

Tesla Cybertruck:
Tesla just unveiled its long-awaited electric pickup truck. The Cybertruck has a unique look and a stainless steel body. A metal ball cracked a window during a demonstration showcasing the truck’s durability, but a swing from a sledgehammer didn’t dent the body of the truck. The starting price is just under $40,000.

“Smart Skin” Virtual Reality:
A team of scientists from Northwestern University have created a so-called “smart skin” machine to mimic the sense of touch. It works by sticking soft, lightweight sheets of electronics to your body which use vibration, pressure and motion to make it feel like someone is touching you. The tech could be used for medical purposes like providing sensory feedback for amputees.

Twitter Hide Replies:
After months of testing, Twitter is giving users more control when it comes to the conversations they start by allowing them to hide replies to their tweets if they find them offensive, irrelevant or annoying. The Tweets won’t be deleted, but people following the thread will have to go through an extra step to see it.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Cancelled:
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is officially cancelled this year. The brand’s parent company said it’s time to “evolve the marketing of Victoria’s Secret” amid the show’s declining viewership and bad publicity. There may be a new online event in the future.

Weekend Box Office:
