Shooting at Navy Base:
The FBI says it’s investigating Friday's shooting at a naval base in Pensacola, Florida with the presumption that it was an act of terrorism. Three people were killed and eight others injured. The 21-year old shooter was from Saudi Arabia and had been in the U.S. for two years for training.

New Justice Department Report:
The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is expected to release findings today about whether the Russia investigation had political bias and whether the FBI illegally spied on the Trump campaign. Reports say the findings will likely show the FBI investigations were valid, while pointing out some missteps. The inspector general will then testify Wednesday.

Elon Musk Wins Trial:
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was found not guilty of defaming a British cave diver who he called “pedo guy” on Twitter last year. The diver sued. During the trial, Musk apologized and said he didn’t think the diver was literally a pedophile. The jury felt there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the tweet was damaging.

Highlighting Well-Lit Roads:
Google Maps is reportedly working on a new feature that would highlight well-lit streets, which might be especially useful for tourists or people not familiar with an area. Google hasn’t confirmed yet, but the feature is expected to roll out in India and then expand from there.

Snapchat is adding a new feature that lets users add themselves into a video or GIF. Snapchat Cameo uses a selfie to put a face on someone else's body in a short looping video. Once the feature is live, users will be able to find Cameo by tapping the Bitmoji button in the app.

College Football Rankings:

LSU (No. 1) will play Oklahoma (No. 4) in the Peach Bowl while Ohio State and Clemson (No. 2 & 3) will face off in the Fiesta Bowl as the four compete for the College Football Playoff National Championship. Rising Rap Star Dies:
Rising rap star Juice WRLD passed away after a “medical emergency” at Chicago’s Midway Airport. Some reports have described it as a seizure, but officials haven’t released a cause of death. His debut hit “Lucid Dreams” was one of the most popular songs of 2018. Juice WRLD, whose real name is Jarad Higgins, was just 21.

Remembering Sesame Street Icon:
Fans are remembering Sesame Street icon Caroll Spinney. The original puppeteer who played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch died at home over the weekend. He was on the children’s show for 50 years. He was 85.

Disney’s $10B Milestone:
Frozen 2 was at the top of the charts for the third weekend in a row. The movie has already brought in $919 million worldwide and will soon become the sixth Disney movie to cross the $1 billion mark in 2019. Disney will break its own record to become the first studio ever to bring in more than $10 billion at the worldwide box office within a year.

Miss Universe 2019:
Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi is this year’s winner of the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Puerto Rico was runner up and Miss Mexico came in third. Last night’s pageant also included the first openly gay contestant. Once again, host Steve Harvey messed up, this time by announcing the wrong winner of the national costume contest. He says the wrong name was in the teleprompter.
