Articles of Impeachment Revealed:
It's official: two articles of impeachment have now been written and revealed. Top Democrats charge Trump with "Abuse of Power" and "Obstruction of Congress." The House Judiciary Committee will likely vote this week, and the full House could vote before Christmas.

New North American Trade Pact:
While lawmakers were divided yesterday about impeachment, both parties came together over a new trade agreement. Top Democrats announced they're signing off on the president's deal after months of back and forth. The new deal between U.S., Mexico and Canada (USMCA) would replace NAFTA. A formal vote could come soon, and USMCA could go into effect next year. Meanwhile, trade talks continue with China, and both countries are apparently taking steps to delay tariffs set to go into effect Sunday. Stay tuned.

Jersey City Shootout:
A shootout in New Jersey left six people dead: a police officer, three bystanders and two suspects. An officer checking on suspicious activity was shot and killed, then the two suspects barricaded themselves in a grocery store until the shootout and standoff ended. The city's mayor said the suspects may have targeted the area, but it's not clear yet if he's referring to it being targeted as a Jewish neighborhood or for another reason.

Anti-Semitism Executive Order:
President Trump is expected to sign an executive order today that the White House says targets discrimination against Jews on college campuses. The order threatens to cut funding to colleges that don't properly address anti-semitism. It could also ask the Dept. of Education to broaden its definition to possibly include criticism of Israel, which critics say limits free speech.

Patriots Video Violation:
The New England Patriots broke the rules. They admitted to illegally filming the field during Sunday's game between the Browns and the Bengals, but team officials say it was harmless. The NFL is investigation, especially since the Patriots used video to steal play-calls back in 2007.

FB vs. AG:
Facebook says it's not going to give law enforcement a "backdoor" way to read encrypted messages on its messaging apps, despite Attorney General William Barr's request. The company says it could make users vulnerable to hackers, while the AG argues encrypted messages hide serious crimes, including terror attacks.

iPhone Parental Controls:
There are new tools out now for parents to limit when their kids use their iPhones, called "communication limits." For the first time, parents can control who their kids talk to and text with (and when) on their devices. The goal is to keep kids from getting addicted to their iPhones.

Waze has a new feature that lets drivers report wintry weather in real time, including unplowed roads and black ice. Some say it could also help cities themselves see what roads still need to be plowed. Of course, don't report while driving...

For the first time in nearly four decades, Vanna White hosted the 'Wheel of Fortune.' The longtime host Pat Sajak had emergency surgery and needed a fill-in while he recovered. Vanna White is taking over for a few weeks.

Word of the Year = They:
Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year is 'they.' The online dictionary says its based on data, and 'they' as a personal pronoun saw a 313% increase in lookups this year compared to 2018.
