"National Emergency": That's what President Trump is calling a group of 7,000+ Central American migrants making the trek to try and reach the U.S. border. They're reportedly trying to escape poverty and violence in countries like Guatemala. Trump says he's ready to send troops to the border to stop them. Others say Trump has made all kinds of false and misleading claims about the migrant caravan for political reasons.

Teen Smoking: New data shows there's an uptick in high school teen smoking rates for the first time in two decades. Some wonder if e-cigarettes are pushing teens to smoke the more dangerous, conventional cigarettes as well.

E-Scooter Lawsuit: There's a class action lawsuit against the e-scooter industry, specifically naming two of the companies: Bird and Lime. The suit says the companies were "negligent" for "dropping" e-scooters on sidewalks without warnings or safety instructions, and it's led to injuries. The companies say there's no evidence they're more dangerous than bikes, and safety is important to them. Plus, Lime is apparently planning to open a physical storefront...

Test Tunnel: Elon Musk said his Boring Company's underground tunnel will be complete December 10th, and the public can ride free the next day. For now, it's a two-mile test track, but it's goal is to take passengers and carsunderthe LA traffic on self-driving platforms.

World Series: Game one starts tonight! It's the LA Dodgers vs Boston Red Sox, and it'll be the first time since 1916 that those two teams have played each other in the World Series. You can expect to hear the two star pitchers' names a lot: Clayton Kershaw (Dodgers) and Chris Sale (Red Sox).

New Pinocchioon Netflix: Netflix gave the green light to Oscar-winning director, Guillermo del Toro, to write, direct and produce a stop motion musical version ofPinocchio. Production starts this fall.
